The New "Longer Life" Epson Photo Paper has hit the stores. It still has the same item number (SO41141), which will confuse a lot of people. But the packaging (at least for the 8x11 size) is different. Rather than the plastic wrap, conforming to the size of the paper, the new letter size package is cardboard and wider and longer than the paper itself.

The bulleted text on the front says what it said before with the addition of the "Photo Lab Quality" logo and these phrases:

"Improved! Longer Lasting Print Life!"
"96%=Opacity"
"89=ISO Brightness"

There are two photos on the front: A gray haired man holding a child and a puppy; and a youngish couple in vacation clothes walking on cobblestone."

I haven't tried the paper yet, but assume it will produce similar results as the previous version, except "last longer." [snip]
