 Epson Stylus Pro 3800
Test Prints


It's hard to see the quality of new printers like the Epson 3800, R2400, 4800 and HP Z2100 (same as HP B9180) if you can't actually see a print! We are now offering prints made on all these printers so you can see them for yourself. Prints are done on our Micro Ceramic Luster with a custom profile for the best results possible.

For best results you will likely want to download the test image we used and print it on your printer (with our profiles if we have one for your printer and the paper). To this end, you can optionally get our "House Variety Pack" included in the envelope withyour samples so you will have sheets to print on - it's just $3 more.

Ordering this item will set your shipping method to "Sample" in the shopping cart - leave it that way so the shipping will be $4.05 for USPS Priority Mail. If you change the shipping method we will change it back and you'll still get charged $4.05.

All Epson prints are made with a 360ppi image file. Prints made on Canon and HP printers requite a 600ppi image to acheive comparable output sharpness and that is what we use for those. Additional information about this can be found at http://www.inkjetart.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6553


You can download the original file we are using from Bill Atkinson's mac.com page (it's the LAB test image) - it needs to be uncompressed with Stuffit Expander.
